All,
I put MCO at AUD -260k per qtr based on their numbers.
A sanity check on my calcs below would be appreciated. I know, assumptions are crucial when doing these sort of what-if's, feedback is welcome.
*From trial mining report (June 10, 2008)
LRIP: 50t/day
Prod'n costs: AUD240/tonne
Grade est: 12g/tonne
*From 31 March cash flow report:
Explor'n costs: AUD 573k per qtr
Admin costs: AUD 164k per qtr
*Assumed average gold price = AUD900
*Cash flow/qtr = Sales - Expenses = AUD -260k
*Sales = 90days*50t/day * 12g/tonne*AUD900/oz / 31.1g/oz
= AUD 1.56M
*Expenses = Prod'n costs + Explor'n costs + Admin costs
= (90days * AUD 240/tonne * 50tonne/day)
+ AUD 573k + AUD 164k
= AUD 1.08M + AUD 573k + AUD 164k
= AUD 1.82M
