To be honest I live in Perth and have never actually seen an EV driving the streets.
Once I see ads on tv playing 20 times a day for an EV instead of a ford ranger or Mazda 3 whatever then I won’t believe the buzz around here.
The USA is a large market but do people realise how cheap petrol cars and petrol itself is there they won’t be moving to EV’s anytime soon because they don’t need to they are too comfortable,plus big oil owns Congress.
