That letter has confimred what most of us already have assumed.
Vegan and abaser seem to be on the money in my opinion with what might happen down the track.
Someone is definitely selling GWR shares to try and keep the SP down. I think that, like Vegan said, it is an entity that is trying to destabilise the board. Probably portman interests.
PMM know that the board are FAS friendly and are trying to remove FAS's grasp on the board. If this happens, then PMM WILL take board control.
Dont despair shareholders. We have just been told that the project has way more potential than what was first thought and some poor fool wants to offload some of their shares in the name of board destabilisation IMHO. Last couple of days, I have enjoyed picking up some more shares at a cheap price considering where we are in the project time line. If anyone else is thinking of doing so, then now the timing could not be better IMO.
I feel we may have to wait until after the Meeting before upgrade. We might get a small one now though, but I reckon from Con's letters that they will issue shares to maintain their board control and prevent GWR falling into PMM hands. This is a standard anti takeover ploy. GWR did it previoulsy to successfully ward off FAS so I have no problem with them doing that.
All I can say is that there are some rather cheap shares being dumped, so everyone have a crack at them. I have more than doubled my holding this week so I'm happy. GWR with it's next upgrade is getting close to being on the iron Ore radar. 87MT is hardly earth shattering, but once we get over 150MT, then all of a sudden GWR shares will be in demand.
Still think FAS are in the throws of one last assault on GWR.
Time to sit and wait now.
