I spent over half an hour on the phone this morning discussing the issues arising from the blog article with the Investor Relations Manager based in Colorado. Based on the conversation the bottom line is I changed my sell position to BUY. Not giving advice but I personally now see the slide over the last week as a buying opportunity and accordingly topped up my holding this avo. DYOR of course. We all have different risk tolerances and investing priorities.

Whilst the suspension at Didipio might drag on whilst the Govt Auths undertake their due diligence, I believe it will come good in the end. The company is doing all it can and dont want to inflame the situation with responses to local blogs however wild the claims are. From my experience in Africa in similar circumstances I have to say on balance, management is adopting the optimal approach in difficult circumstances being very aware of the sensibilities.

I was impressed that I was given a hearing and was listened to. They reached out in a caring manner very promptly from the other side of the world which is something. Quite often we are ignored or shouted down. I am now convinced they know what they are doing and are not just sitting on their hands. When there is something to announce they will announce it. They know what is going on and have their finger on the pulse in a sensitive environment. GLTA!
