    asteroider...

The sad reality is you reacted to a prop...which to me looked pretty obvious...and you got stung.

Now you are carrying on like a retail dweeb.

Please...do not take this as a personal swipe, I am simply reacting to the reality of your posts.

You are the only one creating angst on these threads...next you will be complaining about the angst.

Price manipulation, including props, etc, should be acted on...I have personally lodged numerous complaints regarding the trading activity of several stocks...but they never EVER seem to be acted on.

This, along with stock borrowing and empty short selling (where brokers and those with "special arrangements" short sell a non-shortable stock, without pre arranging a borrowing commitment), on the basis they buy it all back before the end of the trading day...it is strictly illegal in specs, yet it seems very common.

I am sure you are right in accusing posters on HC for being involved in some of the games that transpired in KEY on Friday, but to come to the KEY threads, which prior to Friday's announcement was not a particular busy thread...and where virtually all discussion was sensible, reserved and mostly of an investment nature.

It takes just one manipulative trader to place a prop...or two...and instigate the games we saw.

It has no impact on the quality of the stock, or it's likely future value...other than introducing volatility, that in certain stocks can hamstring its capacity to rise to a fair value rating.

KEY is not one of those stocks, although from time to time, every stock can suffer under manipulative strain. In this regard, HDR was one of the most manipulated stocks on the exchange for a while there...brokers, funds, sophs, they were all over it.

    Results talk however.

Another issue impacting on Friday...KEY was like a beacon of light to the trader moths and one of the few really decent risers...it was always bounce to excite the trader interest.

Give it a week and balance will return...and the nature of the results will start to dictate under the weight of real investors buying in, who do not react to props, be they caps or props...and do not scream blue murder everytime the stock does not do what they expect.

Seriously though...to an investor, what difference would it have made if KEY had settled at 50c on Friday...unless of course you were wanting to sell?

But what sort of investor would sell on an announcement?

When the players hit a stoc, you can fight them, or beat them at their own game...I prefer the latter.

    Cheers!
