If you do a little bit of research you would understand how long changes take to come into effect in an evaporation pond system. It would seem that the difficulty reaching name plate has been due to restrictions on output from the ponds.
This is something that can only be remedied by building more pond capacity. This is currently underway - see the view from space thread for photos - and is why construction of S2 can lead to an achievable capacity of 42500ktpa LCE.
Your predictions of a loss for the current financial year are unfounded in my view given you are not taking into account reductions in operating costs. This is why operating margins have been maintained close to 50% as the price for Li2CO3 fell.
