Quite agree one should talk to the directors. After all they are the ones signing the ASX announcements and they will know what is in them. Clearly they enjoy the opportunity of repeating these back to you in your in (or is that out of) depth conversations.
Many investors have found that there are other sources of information that assist in making informed decisions. These include market, economic, supply, demand, analysts, commentators, deduction and logic. You too should try some of these. It would help in differentiating between opinion and ramping.
For example here is a good tip I received. Get into Lithium stocks. Demand is booming and that is not just for lap top batteries. That was an opinion.
