I find the move by Shell to be very interesting and thought it would be opportune for them to export the gas from the NW shelf and use local Perth basin gas for the Neerabup Power Station. Particularly with the STX share price being so low for the potential resource.

Surely, this would be much cheaper than sending it 1600kms down the pipeline. Not sure what they would pay for the use of the pipeline or the need to supply a certain percent of gas sourced into the WA markets.
