In order for hospitals to bring on and use new technology, new processes, new machines or anything new in reality, they have to stringently raise reams of process paperwork around the new "thing", which then has to be tested and signed off. Then it has to be indoctrinated into the core operational paperwork and design documents. It then has to be signed off at the highest levels once its approved at all operational, governance, financial and risk levels. Agreements between RAP and the hospital around a great many items such as data and support and financials has to take place. The process can be quite onerous.

The process paperwork is then drawn up from high level design and down to operational levels, and training paperwork is then drawn up and again signed off. Training for staff will have to take place, albeit a simple process...this can take a long time because everyone will have mandatory training. No one will be using RespappDX until all front line staff are trained in it.

This is how hospitals and any ISO based businesses operates.....you can't just throw a mobile phone at people and say use this now. There has to be a forest worth of paperwork done prior to even downloading the app.

Food for thought.....but its good if the German hospital is already doing this and it will help RAP understand how quickly or slowly the take up of the app can be.
