Did your crystal ball say that Trump and USA would be this deep in a trade war with China. Me thinks not. Bull market for the rest of his term after winning the 2020 election and trade war? LOL USA is currently in the direction of a recession if it continues to go further in it's trade war and I can guarantee that China will not back down unless there is an agreement.
To put simply, in a trade war, there are no winners.
