SBM subscribed at 27.5 cents a share to take a 12% stake in DKM. I assume it was to help fund their gold exploration. Perhaps SBM will now sell out since DKM is now exploring for base metals.
Poor SBM. They just can not get their own exploration program to take traction, except at its Gwalia mine. Snail pace exploration at Simberi and everywhere else.
This is a good deal for RRL. They need to extend the mine life of their Duketon operations and hopefully there is more success for them than what DKM found at the tenements (I suppose DKM lacked funds).
