Fun fact about GXY trading over the past few weeks: Instinet are popping up as one-sided buyers on most days. Instinet in Australia provides block sized, mid-point pricing as a liquidity venue, which means it is more likely to be used by institutional investors than retail. As an example, half of last Wednesday's trading was through Instinet and all of its transactions were buys. You can't tell if they are longs or covers, but it is a new and different pattern compared to most of this year.
