I'm not a "global warming" believer. Actually, it's supposed to be called "climate change" now. They changed the name when the warming theory didn't fit.

It's all media driven hyperbole, just like bird flu, the ozone hole, acid rain etc etc. There is no scientific evidence to justify the global warming theory. Nevertheless, there are plenty of people who believe the nonsense and politicians will legislate accordingly, so it may be possible to make money from the fad.

But global warming will soon fade into insignificance due to the credit crisis problem, which has been underplayed by the media. The credit crisis has only just begun to have its impact, and it will become a bigger issue than the 1930s depression. The housing downturn has also only just begun.

CFU will eventually become a buy because of increasing energy costs, but in the meantime the credit crisis is going to take almost all stocks down.
