I really think you are completely wrong thinking Foster's Report is Baseless
As one example

$1,170,226 (Receipts for the Indiegogo campaign) Total of 3,594 Units Pre-Sold before the product was even manufactured
$325,000 (Receipts for June quarter) Total of just 964 Units @ an Average of $337.00 per Unit

To sell approximately 964 Units over 90 Days between April 1st - June 30th, which would make it around 11 Units per day, for all the hundreds of retailers, Hearing Aid Clinics and the Nuheara online store, to be selling an average of around 11 Units per day is deplorable, and Fosters Report was an achievable plan imo, even working off the Indiegogo Pre-Sales.
