The merger will be approved, I think it's obvious IMO.

TPG isn't a mobile carrier right now, so approving it won't be merging two mobile carriers (lessening CURRENT mobile competition).

Additionally, the country is too sparse to justify a major 4th player. Just take a look at the recent mobile network mergers in the US, not even a country of 330 million people (172% more than Australia) with a similar land mass to ours can accommodate more than 4 carriers.
