Another option is that Neuren has gone back to Acadia to come up with another offer for the ROW rights or for the complete sale of trofinetide. It has never made any sense to me that Acadia would want to miss out on not being totally invested in trofinetide once they obtained the NA rights.
Why do all that heavy lifting and allow someone else to benefit?
