I agree, many annoyed investors will sell out just to prove a point. What they are missing is the underlying value in Biota.

I would urge Biota management to use the cash rather than just distribute it back to shareholders. Worse case scenario, continue with the share buyback. Times are getting tough and cash rich biotechs will be able to buy others at bargain basement prices! $80m cash in a deposit will be earning close to 10% p.a. Not a bad little earner!

Best of all the stockpile of cash is growing and should assist Biota striking great deals with their unlicenced products.
