Does anyone remember the disgusting story some commercial TV station (9?) played out where they took a couple of unemployed youth from Melbourne and offered them jobs in some island on the far North? The station had made so much of the fact that these "awful teenagers" were too lazy or too unwilling to be employed because they had refused to live on that god forsaken island. That was years ago and I just can't remember the details but the pulp media had it spinning 24/7 for quite a while. So did all the shock jocks on the radio. A real angerfest!
