Yeah outsourcing to socionext is all about ensuring successful production of a chip.
And with socionext, it looks like this will happen - Akida should come off the production line with all of PVDM's revolutionary bells and whistles.

But for this chip to be commercially successful - granted it might need adoption in only one market niche - it will have to successfully disrupt a highly competitive deep learning landscape. The depressing reality is the Co's lack of runs on the board to date marketing SNN products are not a good omen.

After successful production of Akida the real challenges await.
