I am completely over these endless postings on the FAR thread about litigation and who is right and wrong.
I have one measure when I buy stock. Am I making money? What else is there? I am investing to make money. I could give a rats turd over companies long term future. I have no love for public companies just as their management do not care for my retirement. They care about their next years bonus's and that is right. What else should they worry about?
I avoid companies that make anti-personnel mines in the shape of toys. I don't invest in tobacco. I accept that climate change is real and that the future is electric. Until that changeover is complete we are stuck with carbon based fuel.
But this endless ongoing debate about whether CPL should have done this or that, and whether WPL is taking advantage of FAR etc etc.
Bottom line is Senegal is not getting any benefit from the O&G they are entitled to and as a developing nation are entitled to while they build up their infrastructure to serve their population. Meanwhile FAR and CPL are going thru the motions in Paris.
I just want to move on to the real game. Even if it costs us in the longer term, lets do the right thing by holders and Senegalese and get this show up and running. The share price is 6c and the company is seriously bleeding. And they are arguing the point over something they have see as a potential loss they cannot use anyway.
FFS, sometimes it is necessary to take a hit so you can move forward and kick a goal and win the game.
FAR are currently not doing me any favors. A complete shiteshow.
