What are peoples thoughts on expectations from the HCS? I've just been trying to get my head around it by reading all AWEs announcements from s3, w1-4 wells. My knowledge is minimal so any any input would be much appreciated.
From what I read they have only flow tested the HCS in S-3 and W-1. S-3 flowing 0.3 mmscf/d and W-1 flowing 24.7 mmscf/d.
The HCS in W-2, W-3 and W-4 was considered tight after logging. Has anything been mentioned previously regarding this?
WE-2 Kingia does look sensational though. Considerably better than any of AWE's wells in terms of net pay. Porosity close to AWE. Even the Wagina find looks promising.
There will be gas in the HCS, but how much expectation of a similar result to the Kingia is built into the current sp?
