Why not shack up with the MRS first.
Why not look to buy a property whereby you can rent first for x amount with an option to buy ion 6 months time.
rent it for 6 months......see if you still like the MRS ...or if she likes your smelly socks and teeth grinding after 6 months and if so......buy and you dont have to move.
Stick add in paper.....
"Young couple wish to rent a place with an option to buy the property in 6 months time."
That should get u some hits.
Then tell them you are happy to buy but want 3 months "rent to see if you like it" time as part of the contract.
