I do not see we are cooling at all. Depends where you start your measurement from. I dismiss 5, 6 , 7 10 years periods. If you include 1998 and average out warmest 10 years on record. If you start from la nina year of 2000 you get a different picture. Selective. not long enough.
If I were to believe in global cooling for a few years then the overwhelmig argument is that I should accept global warming over a longer trend.
