I have nothing against warrants as such, quite the contrary. They are an excellent tool as long as users understand the risk.
Nor do I think MacQ will be crying over WME. Like the casino they have to have winners to keep people coming back. :-)
As to why WMF, it's my observation that the best result for MM's occurs when they pitch otm long dated issues into the market. Time decay is the insto's secret weapon.
Also it's a sad fact that most people, when they first trade warrants are dazzled by the leverage and gravitate to the cheapest warrant. That's the sucker play.
