2. The above is really just a laugh - most women quickly un-learn most of those 'vices' when there are children and a man to look after. But somebody has to keep the hair dressing and cosmetics industry going ;-)
3. A long time ago a friend made a compliment about a woman and he said: ".X.. has got a firm handshake and you know you can go steal horses with her.."
So, I guess, for this man it was a woman who has got some masculine traits as well, but we are told by the media, glossies, the fashion 'industry', hair dressers etc. etc. to be this kind of ephemeral creature that costs a lot of money to maintain, (and is also quite self-obsessed).
3. I guess, look for someone with optimism, simple tastes, not too much make-up, not too many clothes, important: who also can cook, is practical etc. and has the magic X-factor that attracts you to one another. Common sense, really.
