I agree with Brucey, its mainly the global enviroment, we can't do a great deal with a short time frame. I think one of our main problems is our revenues are reliant on mining basically as a whole, i would try and somehow seperate it out of domestic policy and let the miners do what they do best and then run the normal economy like an economy without mining with policies to match, if Australia could become competitive like non-mining countries have to we could enjoy the best of both worlds and a stronger dollar imv.
