Tricha, From looking at their maps and the Google satellite image, the Warrior mine (Washington open pit area)is about 5 km east of the plant as the crow flies, and about 12km if the crow has to drive an ore truck. I rang the mine (07 4787 8300), and they said that the Warrior Mine and the Mill are on two completely different and independent supply circuits. The Mill has a 5MW circuit but the mine has only 750KW, upgrading to 3 MW. They said they have been trying for over 12 months to get Ergon to upgrade the powr circuit - Ergon is a QANGO that trundles along at its own pace. Lack of power has been a real issue in upping production for over a year.

U R running a business.U need to be cashflow positive as soon as possible. which option would u take.
1 - Would u spend your energy\cash drilling a deep hole.
2 - Spend a little bit more and make the power thing happen.
3 - I'm sure BMA gold just down the road could loan them a generator or two.
A generator, a lot of remote mines run on them.It's not rocket science, it's very basic.
I think u will find Dominion mining do.
