Volume in the HC is a lot lower than the Kingia. About 20% of Kingia assuming equivalent areal extent. Stop losses and traders panic selling turns the disappointment into a rout.
It's pretty stupid. They have "only" found a Waitsia High Cliff - oh, the humanity!
Combined volume at P50 now looks to be about 800 bcf recoverable IMO. About on par with Waitsia but less than the 1.2 tcf it would have been if the HC had been another Kingia. Clearly some people were already banking that assumption.
Don't stress too much, this is still a monster find. Wait for the flow test. It's going to blow some minds IMO.
