Yea I built a memory box with my kid (after was asked if I could help for our dog who passed ) last week with blue velvet lining out of pine an stained an silver handles .
It's good to start with an idea an gettin a finished object. Not perfect but we built it more meaning. Most just go to Ikea etc.
