Here’s one of my Standard 123 BS lines to a critiquing person who probably doesn’t even know that they’re doing it.
“It’s a bespoke coffee table/plant holder/ sculpture type thing, it’s meant to have that gap/deep scratch/slightly off balance look”!! ”Do you know what Bespoke means”?
”If you want tasteless, bland straight lines and functionality go to IKEA”!!!
Depending on who and who else is around I can dial the colour coded sarcasm up or down (I prefer a deep shade of blue with the right company ).
I hope that people can generally see that I’m not to serious, I’m not the type of person who gets upset easily and I enjoy a bit of banter? Strangely enough, some of the more vocal derogatory types have inspired some of my favourite crafty bits.
