SYR prints sobering news for the Chinese battery sector this morning IMO. Read the tea leaves. The trouble is really just beginning. Before long the downstream battery cartels will own some of these mines dirt cheap just like they bought GBG recently in the IO space. Profit at the mine gate is not a driver of their thinking IMO. In fact if they can get the spodumene for cost all the better. Even at a loss it still works for them. ASX lithium equity investors have no power to influence the direction of the battery complex in the long run. Esh
