From here they can essentially choose when it makes gas. On the face of it it’s a very simple process, simply speed up the pump, draw the pressure down and the coals start giving up their gas.
In reality however it’s a delicate process. They need to incrementally draw down the pressure to get a gradual increase in gas production. Too fast and the formation kicks/surges and bungs everything up with disturbed sediment/clay/sand. While we all want to see substantial gas and soon the fact is that the slower they bring it on the better the results are likely to be.
I’d expect to see a gradual increase to full flows by around late October.
