I think they are pretty keen to get the JORC done. It's the company-making asset and critically important. I think they would be working pretty hard on it.

It wont be nit-picking over editing. JORC has technical requirements and like anything in the engineering space the JORC is open to interpretation. So whenever the ASX receive a new announcement they would be running through checklists to ensure the announcement has all the required content and is in an acceptable format.

From my experience in the engineering realm (outside of mining), addressing comments with an external reviewer can be a painful back and forth negotiation process involving answering queries, addressing comments or providing supporting information. You address a set of comments then send through an update draft for acceptance and then the reviewer comes back with more unexpected comments. The back and forth continues. Can be tedious if you are at the receiving end.

The key technical people are also in Canada and Alaska so the timezone differences also come into it and may add to the turn-around time.

I'm not concerned as I have a good appreciation for what goes in the background for this sort of technical information.
