Basically what bis has announced is the agreement ie salzgitter will supply the greenfeed for bis armor plate for rheinmetall.The reason being salzgitter greenfeed has specific characteristics required to produce rheinmetall grade armor plate ,bsl doesn't.
I asked the obvious question whether there was potential to produce the armor plate on the new q&t salzgitter line,the answer was no because of historic issues salzgitter has with germany/producing armor which is fine.
Not wanting to let the opportunity go without squeezing as many questions in as possible i asked about bsl/bis potential in north america etc boxer uk potential .Bottom line and as posted i follow bis (don't suggest) because bis clearly understands the best way to develop their business and any opportunities available but no plans for bsl/bis north america yet.
ps its almost a relief as bis will not b required to inject capital into germany like cjv.
