Hi All, So far I haven't posted any comments on GGY but have read with interest all of the ones that have.
I have held GGY for a few years and started buying at around 5c .It was certainly a roller coaster ride but when they did start moving on announcements, listening to broadband radio etc: I started topping up all the way to 19 cents .I thought my patience was finally paying off.Even when they started to retreat I thought it would only be short term and I was in it for the long haul.Well my loyalty certainly hasn't paid off and I also feel totally mislead with what we as shareholders were told.I sent them an email with my thoughts a few weeks ago and I've never had a reply or acknowledgement from this .Nobody has rung me as I also left my telephone number.Like you Buddy when it was announced that the director bought 1 million shares I was also suspicous .We have a GM on the 9 th Sept to vote on the sale .The way I see it is, while I now have a huge loss on the decisions that they have made , they are still receiving a very attractive salary .Did he buy to have more voting power or is it because on the 9 th Sept there are going to be some very angry people attending and he wants to show he is putting his money in what he believes is a good decision and hopefully push the shareprice up ,who knows!!Yes I could sell some of my other shares that are in profit to buy GGY shares at these levels but Iam not willing to risk it.I have lost faith in them and will take anything they tell me with a pinch of salt.I wish it was true the rumour of a takeover but surely a director can't buy as it would be considered insider information .Unless they have something up their sleeve I think the shareprice will hang around these levels for a very long time .So the director putting in $49 K (I've put in more) and securing his job is a very smart investment I think . I have quiet a few shares but not quiet enough to be in the top 20 shareholders .I hope I can attend the meeting as I live in Perth .I may not be as educated and articulate as them but I shall certainly be putting my vieuws and situation accross.
Well good luck to all other GGY shareholders because this certainly has been very dissapointing to say the least.
    Cheers Cloggy
