I really don't know that they were all that happy to take CR money from people with tiny holdings - I suspect that the listing rules obliged them to offer you access to the CR on an equal basis to larger holders. The admin in sorting out the CR payment and shares registry maintenance for many tiny holdings would not have been very cost effective - just another part of reasons they are seeking to rationalize the register.

... and to say that you are irked by the fact that you had to indulge in 5 minutes of admin to fill in and mail the form to retain your parcel just shows how irritating this sort of admin is. If you don't like doing 5 minutes work to retain your tiny parcel how do you think Anteo feel about constantly having to do this sort of thing for thousands of shareholders with tiny parcels.

As someone said, all just part of owning listed Australian shares.
