kenneth, hate to be so lacking in knowledge, but are you saying that they can "force payment of the loan principal?".
and if so, you have to ask the question, would they do this if the asset they have is worth more than the loan?
even if paragraph 1 is a possiblity, paragraph 2 probably isn't a smart decision and even if it was made, I am sure any home owner would be happy to allow the fire sale to take place if values were such a problem.
