gann45, I tend to agree on the IT resurgence. I believe companies will soon realise they not only can’t do without IT, they can’t survive without good IT staff, tools and processes. IT has long been treated as a bottom feeder to the business, despite all the talk of business and IT working together closely as equal partners. It’s just been talk and nothing else. Once they realise IT is critical for a business to compete successfully, IT vendors will flourish, both in new technologies and processes. It’s about time business understood that IT is actually becoming the business, as they are both becoming tightly coupled. Businesses that fail to recognise this will die a slow death.
