PNV does not join the ASX200 utill after the close of trade of the 3rd Friday in September. That of course is the 20th. So my take is that the funds will play the price down until the end of next week. Come Monday 23rd ASX200 Index tracking funds are obliged to begin to buy in. That is of course if they havn't already done so. Depends on their charter I suppose.
For long term players the BOT action as I've said ad-nauseam means tiddly squat. See it as an oppurtunity to either buy in or top up as your own situation dictates and thank the BOT's for the oppurtunity. Do not read into that, that I am a supporter of this practice. I am not. But I am mature enough to realise that it is a fact of trading on the bourse. There is nothing you can do about it and if you are a long term investor, you should realise it has no impact on you.
