Do the recent events really qualify for a class action by shareholders, after all the OM article only drew attention to the issue of performance shares that were well documented at the time of issue but were perhaps unknown to recent shareholders. This publication was just a catalyst to spook a market that was ripe for a substantial correction in view of the remarkable gains over the past month, almost any negative public comment could have had the same effect. Then you would need to establish who has lost money that they could not recover in the near future by either holding their shares or by buying back at current prices. Who is likely to finance a class action under these circumstances? Cheers
