I did once give a woman just $5 I think it as in the supermarket. She was in Aldi in St Kilda - I would normally not go there but it is opposite some housing commission flats and she had bought exactly the sort of good food mum would.
She also had some Jaffa Cake look alike biscuits and mum bought them for me once when I said I would call in for arvo.
She was told the bill and then said she would have to put something back.
Shoot! No way would I have a bar of that and stretched my great long body over and insisted the checkout take my note.
She protested - I insisted and told the guy to give her the change.
Talk about karma - so many things went right for me the next couple of days.
