    on SYR thread and seems relevant to LTR, I hope so anyway.....

    some folks appear to not understand mining ventures
    they are many types of mineral deposits that are simply uneconomic, despite the large amount of mineralisation
    SYR might be one these deposits, that can only produce a very low grade thus relatively high cost product
    it does not matter what year it is
    even when SYR hit $6 a few years ago, even back then, if the deposit is uneconomic, it is worthless
    there are monster low grade copper deposits, gold deposits, laterite nickel deposits, magnetite iron deposits, rare earth element deposits, that are currently worthless
    soon, some lithium companies, such as PLS, might be worthless
    graphite is not rare
    lithium is not rare
    as supply comes on, only the best Tier One deposits will make it
    similar to TON it seems, despite its enormous size, SYR's Balama deposit is not a Tier One deposit because it can only sell its graphite for a very low price
    now, we might understand how the old boys pegged Balama. possibly, no major mining company was ever interested in it
