i believe it matters, thats why i made that post. somebodys disclosure has a profound effect on how a post is interpreted by anyone who reads it, and it is a requirement in HC's terms of use, and i quote:

"if you own or have some other interest in a security, or you have any connection with a securities issuer that you might benefit from, you must disclose that fact."

i merely wished to inform our friend meerkat that his/her posts may not comply with the terms of use of this site.

you may think it was silly, thats fine. you are entitled to an opinion. this is afterall a public forum, but it does have rules and disclosure is one of them. you may also notice that each post requires the poster to confirm they are complying with the terms of use.

i thought somebody with such a prominent profile as meerkat may want to make sure they are acting within the rules of this site. i was not as you may think having a dig just for the sake of it.
