    Hi Michael

There are other posters that are more experienced than me re drilling but to my knowledge Diamond Drilling costs between $120 and $200 per metre depending on the total metres being drilled. The more metres the cheaper the rate. You also have the cost of setting up drilling pads and a water bore hole for DD. RC drilling on the other hand does not need drilling pads or water and costs between 25 to 40% less per metre. RC is only done during the day in 1 x 12 hour shift and is approx. 3 to 4 times faster than DD. RC drilling is less accurate and usually done to about 200 metres but can go deeper but water in the hole can be a major problem whereas DD can go down over 1,000 metres. DD can run 2 x 12 hour shifts using 2 drilling teams. Deep holes can be started with RC and then completed at depth with DD but as I said earlier RC is less accurate.

I personally think the 2 rigs on site is ok for now as the St George team is still defining targets. The RC rig has sped things up considerably and we should be getting more frequent results.

If the Fish Hook sampling comes up trumps don't be surprised if there is a 3rd rig on site to do the Fish Hook drilling. From memory St George should have that drilling permit approved by early to mid October.

    Hope this helps.
