Nobody complained when Atlas Iron ore raised a further 100M at $2.00 per share when they still had a fair bit of coin in the bank. From memory, the SP was tracking towards $4 when the $2 shares were issued. Flannagan used that money to buy tenements and take a strategic stake in other iron ore hopefuls.
I didn't hear anyone saying that it was a waste of money.
