Hi big e,
Yes, there was a new queen cell being made,
Bees are amazing critters,
If I was to open up one of my hives and grab the queen and squish her between my fingers,
Then the hive would choose a new queen with in days, and then by the time she is ready to lay eggs, it's around 4 weeks later,
Basically what I did was steal half a hive from a wild hive, you could call it a split, which it pretty well is,
I didn't want to split my hives at home because I want honey as soon as I can,
While my bees are doing their job I'll leave them beeeeeee for now lol,
The wild hive has got masses of food so they will be back up and running within the next week,
