    "First one seems the easiest."

Really? The gas price is already at near-record high levels, following bans several years ago in onshore gas development in Victoria and New South Wales:

What happens to the gas price over the next 10 years if there is no gas supply? Does it go:

    a) down
    b) up

"Second one is partly possible ( domestic) generation."

    In 10 years, 100% renewables?
What happens to the hundreds of thousands of homes that have gas stoves and hot water systems, and the thousands of businesses that are gas powered?

"But Australia is a huge exporter of fossil fuels.... we’re addicted to the money.....
Transition of workers shouldn’t be too hard.... so long as there’s strong investment in renewables."

Transitioning workers in the fossil fuel industry shouldn't be too hard?
Smacks of a bit of a glib statement.
How many workers - directly and indirectly - are we talking about? Do you know the figure (to the nearest hundred thousand will do)?
