Probably one of the most logical posts I've read in the SUD forum in a long time. If your investment thesis has broken, cutting your losses and reallocating your capital is the astute aoporach any investor should be taking.
I am a long time reader of the SUD forum and it is clearly evident many posters have succumbed to a big pitfall of retail investment strategy - the hope their investment will turnaround while sitting on losses for years on end. The dilutionary impact of CR after CR which has broken the capital structure of this company without growing the business has (in my opinion) made this absolutely uninvestable for a long time. There is so much trapped overhang that even if they invented time travel they wouldn't be able to move the share price.
Paul Hopper joining the business was a big move but also was a clear move to pump the SP for the next CR. The skin in the game he's tipped in is barely anything to fill an investor with confidence. Seeing the next move he makes is the path to derisking an entry, not him simply joining the company. Even then, waiting for the inevitable share consolidation is the pause needed before exposing any further capital to this company imo. You don't need to be on the groundfloor of a share price to still leverage a growing, derisked business
I've read posts on here for years back and the hyperbole and noise has been quite apparent. Ignore it and stick to the deliverables. There have been biotechs with proactive, effective management and delivered and grown in a shorter amount of time than what has been demonstrated here. Noise free. Cap raises are done to increase shareholder value and to enable an aggressive growth strategy. You don't need to look far to see the biotechs I speak of. Always prudent to review the correlation between delivery of shareholder value and a bullish price chart when considering an entry.
All IMHO.
