Don't know about that @vintage - I reckon there would be a lot of Accountants and Analysts , even Bankers who would disagree with you on your claim of the ' insignificance of a Quarterly Reporting ' Cut Offf ' and Balance Date .....particularly when it just happens to also coincide with the release of an Entities combined Annual Report / Annual Accounts.
I believe even SKI would disagree with you with it representing they're end of 3rd QTR reporting period.
Probably also worth mentioning that it is also a Public Holiday in W.A on Monday as well ......so we shouldn't rule off our compatriots residing out West should we ? They might also disagree with the significance of their day off as well........
