As you well know, those reporting deadlines mark the end of the reporting period, not the 'reporting day'! Most companies actually report before the last day.
But also, of course, this event is not directly comparable with those statutory reporting requirements. There is no set period or deadline. Here the period and the deadline are 'self-imposed'.
It's the period that counts the most - not the last day! Who in their right mind would leave the signing of a multi-billion dollar contract to the last day?
Just as the original deadline (31 Dec 2018) came and went and just as the 20 Feb deadline for the options take-up came and went, so this one will too. It's not as if there have not been plentiful clues!
